Not all airline seats are created equal--it's great to know where you'll get extra legroom, where
you'll be close to the galley, which seats don't recline, which have power for your laptop, etc.
We've discovered
SeatGuru.com, a site which touts itself
as "the enlightened guide to airline seating". They've got seating charts with mouse-over
extra tips about particular seats...it's pretty cool (although the site seems to be slow at times).
We think it's worth checking out before you get your seat assignments--especially for a long flight to
Europe or maybe the South Pacific.
