Creative registry item of the month

This month our winners are Dawn and Stephen, who just got back from their honeymoon to Australia. This registry item, Uluru Sunrise Base Tour, is a fabulous example of the gift of an experience which will be remembered forever.

The fun stuff on your registry always get bought first!   The spectacle of sunrise over Uluru (Ayers Rock) will last a lifetime. We'll witness brilliant colour changes and feel the desert awakening. Our morning begins before dawn when we are taken to a secluded sand dune with 360° views of Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park and the surrounding desert. We'll enjoy breakfast as the sun edges over the distant horizon. We will then be taken on a base tour of Uluru.

Easy photo "save-the-date" cards

A very cool feature available from Kodak EasyShare Gallery is the ability to upload a photo and create custom save-the-date cards.

Click here, then click on the main photo below "photo ideas for weddings", and you can select a card design, and upload a photo for your cards.

Also check out the Gift Store tab. You can also upload a photo of the two of you onto things like mouse pads--my fiancée and I did this for my parents & my parents-in-law-to-be, and they really liked them.

Weddings in Fiji

Thinking of getting married in Fiji?

We're very excited to introduce our newest colleague, Aruna! Aruna joins us as one of our travel specialist, and to say she knows Fiji would be an understatement--she's a native of Fiji, and she even got married in Fiji. Got a question for her? Call us at 800-304-1141 and ask for Aruna, or email her at ArunaHalpin@thebigday.com.

Seating planner

I'm in the middle of planning my own wedding, and found this cool product called Places Everyone.

It's a kit consisting of magnetic placeholders for people, tables, etc. that you can use to arrange the seating at your reception.

You write the name of each guest on one of the little white pieces, write table numbers on the round grey pieces, and shuffle everything around until you've got every guest where you want them.
