Description
Poised over one of Africa's most dramatic landscapes in the Kruger National Park's glorious south-east, Lebombo Lodge is set against a country that is abundant in water, antelope and big cats, with colours that shift with the changing seasons. Lebombo Lodge was created as a transient witness to the land, constructed of steel, glass and wood in reverence to the African expanse before it. Walkways snake their way along a ridge dotted with surreal euphorbia that praise the sky, at Singita Lebombo the lofts clasp like eagles' nests to the mountainside. Sparsely adorned spaces created of wall-to-wall glass; Lebombo Lodge's suites are places of interaction with a wilderness that echoes to the soul. Included: - Luxurious all-suite accommodation
- Breakfast, lunch and dinner daily, teas, coffees
- Two open Land Rover safaris a day
- Walking safaris accompanied by experienced game rangers and trackers
- All drinks, including premium wines, spirits and liqueurs (excluding champagnes)
- Return surface transfers from the Singita airstrip to the lodges
- Laundry and valet services
Dining
South Africa, a country of diverse cultures and cosmopolitan influences, inspires the unique culinary experience at Ebony and Boulders Lodges, and Castleton Camp. Juxtaposing global cuisine with traditional African ingredients, Singita's style combines simplicity with an abundance of flavour. Excellent produce, well prepared and presented, is accompanied by truly inspirational surroundings.
Complementing the exceptional cuisine, each Singita lodge has a unique and comprehensive wine cellar. Singita's wine program consists of approximately 35,000 bottles of the finest South African wines. Newly released red wines are matured in our temperature-controlled Cape Town cellar for up to 5 years, to ensure that they reach full potential.

Activities
Sabi Sands Reserve
The Sabi Sands gets its name the perennial Sand River that bisects the reserve and the fine, sandy substrate found throughout. Globally renowned for its diversity and concentration of big game, the Sabi Sands features broad, open savannah interspersed with acacia thornveld, rocky outcrops and riverine forest.
Herds of buffalo and elephant, large prides of lion, majestic leopard and antelope by the thousands make the 18 500 hectare Singita Private Game Reserve, at the heart of the Sabi Sands, one of the finest locations for viewing the Big 5 anywhere in the world.
Lebombo Concession
The Lebombo Concession adds an exciting new dimension to the Singita wildlife experience. Located in the Kruger National Park's southeast, on the border with Mozambique, Lebombo represents one of the few remaining unexplored territories of this celebrated wildlife sanctuary. The Lebombo mountain range runs diagonally across the expanse, interlaced by the N'wanetsi and Sweni Rivers. The rangers testify that the area holds the highest densities of game they've seen anywhere, including a wealth of Big 5, abundant antelope and birdlife, and an incredible diversity of smaller animals.

Facilities
A typical day at Singita 05h30 - After senses are awakened by the sounds of the bushveld, guests congregate with the rangers at the main lodge for tea, coffee and light snacks in anticipation of the early morning game drive. 06h15 - As the early morning sun rises over the horizon, rangers and trackers head out with guests into the African bushveld. One can sense the excitement… who knows what to expect? A herd of ever-cautious impala huddled together, a leopard in the branches of a knobthorn tree with a kill from the last hours of darkness, a herd of elephant feeding in the lush vegetation or a pride of lion in the shade of an acacia. The sound of creatures awakening to a new day stirs your passion for Africa and its many wonders. 08h30 - The fresh aromas of Singita's signature breakfast entice guests back to the lodge. Overlooking the African plains from the main deck, a spectacular breakfast follows your return from the morning game drive, with a buffet of seasonal fruits, cereals, yoghurts and fruit juice, followed by a delectable hot breakfast. 10h00 - At your leisure - whether an indulgent massage or beauty treatment at the spa, relaxing under an African sun on your sundeck, a workout at the gym or some superb shopping at the trading store, any number of discoveries await. 13h00 - Lunch at Singita - after spending the morning at leisure, Singita's talented chefs prepare a medley of culinary delights, inspired by African flavours yet guided by western cooking tradition. 16h00 - As the endless African day starts to cool and the shadows are forming across the plains, guests enjoy afternoon refreshments, which are served in the main lodge before the evening game drive. 16h30 - A vivid sunset sky forms the backdrop of an unforgettable wildlife experience. As darkness approaches, the animals become more active, rarely seen nocturnal creatures emerge and incredible interactions are the order of the day. Pause midway for drinks and conversation as the sun disappears at one of the many vantage points hidden in the bush. The lions stir from their slumber to begin the night's hunt and the leopard slinks through the long grass in the twilight. The evening drive is the apex of the African adventure, moments that will define forever your memories of Africa. 20h00 - One by one, the drivers return to the lodge, the fires are lit and the night's entertainment begins. Return to the lodge for dinner around the fire in the Boma under a starlit sky, or a gourmet meal by candlelight in the dining room. A fusion of venison dishes, fresh fish from the South African coast, pastas, soups and vegetables, dinner at Singita is a sumptuous affair, where you will be enchanted by the rhythm and harmony of a local choir. Retire to your suite for a restful nights sleep in preparation for the next exciting day!
