Accommodations
Opened in 1968 and revered as one of the best small hotels in the Caribbean, the CORAL SANDS HOTEL on Harbour Island in the Bahamas is boasting a brand new look, courtesy of an extensive renovation that has magnificently restored and rejuvenated this little 36 room gem of a hotel.
The rooms are designed in a Bristish colonial style that are luxurious and modern, but comfortable and homey.
There are ten different styles of guest rooms at Coral Sands ... “The Beach House” – a luxurious beachfront house, oceanview suites with private balconies, "The Loft" - a suite that opens onto a rooftop deck, garden view rooms with shared outdoor patios, spacious two bedroom suites and private villas.

Garden View Rooms have one queen bed.
Ocean View Room With Balcony - Has double French doors that invite you to your private balcony that overlooks the pink-sand beach and azure blue waters. These rooms are furnished with a king bed.
The "Loft" Ocean View Room With Terrace - Sits all by itself on the top and center of the Caribe building. Because of its location and height, it has a spectacular view of the beach, ocean and surrounding island. It has a second-floor entrance into a small foyer that has a writing desk and a staircase that takes you to the bedroom, bathroom and private, rooftop sun deck. Furnished with a queen bed.
Ocean View Junior Suite - Has a terrace with sweeping ocean views. Each has a king bed, a double sleeper sofa and reading chair with ottoman. Bed plus sleeper-sofa sleeps four.
1-Bedroom Deluxe Ocean View Suite w/Terrace - Deluxe two-room suite. The bedroom features beautiful ocean views, a covered balcony, one king bed, ottoman and writing desk. There is a separate sitting/reading room that has a couch, armchair, coffee table and an armoire with a TV. Deluxe Ocean View Suites available for online bookings have one bedroom and one or two baths.
1-Bedroom Ocean View Master Suite w/Terrace - Is a very spacious two-room suite with one bedroom and one bath. The bedroom features one king bed, separate sitting/living area furnished with a sleeper sofa, comfortable reading chairs and coffee table. Each Master Suite has two separate and beautiful terraces with dramatic ocean views—one terrace off of the main living area and one off of the private bedroom.
The Beach House - Harbour Island's most luxurious beachfront accommodation The Beach House has been designed and inspired by famous interior designer Barbara Hulaniki.
The Beach House is a spacious ocean front two-bedroom suite situated on the hotel's most private location. It features direct beach access in an independently housed Bahamian Colonial style building. The suite is comprised of two large master bedrooms with breathtaking ocean views, and a spacious exquisitely appointed living room separating each accommodation.
Villa Carissa - a charming home with a guest cottage that sits on one full acre of land adjoining Coral Sands.
The home is very private and has direct access from the ocean. Guests staying at the Villa Carissa have full access and use of all resort guest amenities including our two restaurants, lighted tennis court, beach, private beach cabanas, beach towels and beach equipment.

Beach Bar & Lounge The Beach Bar and Lounge at Coral Sands is the epitome of British colonial style and casual elegance overlooking the Caribbean Sea and what many consider to be one of the worlds most beautiful beaches.
