Crossing Piazza della Repubblica with the fountain of the Nayads, our local guide will take you on a pleasant stroll through the historical centre, where you can admire the Trevi Fountain, the Colonna of Marco Aurelio, Palazzo di Montecitorio, designed by Bernini, the Pantheon (visit inside), Palazzo Madama - seat of the senate, and Piazza Navona. Passing alongside Castel S. Angelo our coach will take you to the Basilica of St Peter, (visit inside except Sundays and when there are religious celebrations) where you can admire one of Michelangelo's magnificant works of art - 'La Pieta'. The tour will proceed by coach to the old city center. Outdoor guided tour of the Duomo complex: Giotto's Bell Tower, the Baptistery with its bronze doors including the famous "Porta del Paradiso" and the visit to the interior of the Cathedral with its magnificent Cupola by Brunelleschi. A short walk through the historical city centre brings you to the renowned Galleria dell'Accademia where you can admire the famous David by Michelangelo and other works by the same great artist. The tour ends with a visit to a a glass blowing factory. Client should be prepared to walk and stand for the length of the tour. They will climb steps and cross bridges over the canals of Venice.
