Malolo is designed to provide a totally relaxing experience with professional massage and beauty therapy to soothe away stress and a Kids Club that operates day and night for that much-needed time alone. Accommodations
Plantation style air-conditioned accommodation reminiscent of the colonial era with high vaulted ceilings, provide a feeling of spaciousness and rustic elegance. The bures are set amongst lush tropical gardens, a few lazy steps from the Pacific Ocean and comprise of three different categories as follows: Oceanview Bure - with 30 Oceanview Bures each is 33 sq metres with 14 sq metre verandahs and have 1 x King size bed and two single beds. All have air-conditioning, fridge, drip filter coffee machine and tea making facilities, separate bathrooms, overhead fans and spacious verandahs. Deluxe Oceanview Bure - with 18 Deluxe Oceanview Bures each is 50 sq metres with 14 sq metre verandahs and have 1 x King size bed in a separate bedroom and two single beds in the spacious living area. All have air-conditioning, fridge, drip filter coffee machine and tea making facilities, separate bathrooms, overhead fans and spacious verandahs. Family Bure - with only one Family Bure it is 100sq metres with a 20sq metre verandah. It comprises of 2 bedrooms, each with a King sized bed, one ensuite and one main bathroom. There are 4 single beds located in the spacious living area and with an elevated location this bure has a fantastic view of the ocean. Dining
Beach Bar - located at the water's edge with spectacular sunset views over the fringing reef. Open morning till evening the Beach Bar & Grill offers casual beachside dining for lunch & dinner including an all day snack menu and evening cocktail hour with reduced price drinks and the sounds of the Malolo Serenaders.
The Terrace Restaurant - with views over Fiji's only sand lagoon pool serving breakfast, lunch and dinner alfresco (including children's menus).
Tree Tops Restaurant - set high in the Coconut trees over looking the resort, the expatriate Executive Chef, with his acclaimed Pacific Rim cuisine with local Pacific Island influences treats diners to fine gourmet dinners in a relaxed and intimate atmosphere.
Tree Tops Bar - open till late every evening for drinks and exotic island cocktails with entertainment nightly by the Malolo Serenaders.
The Pool Bar - cool off with a relaxing beer, wine or cocktail at the 'swim up' bar or sip your drink whilst relaxing in the jacuzzi.
Activities
Fill your day with activities, or simply unwind and do nothing at all. Of course, Malolo has all the water sports and other activities one would expect from an idyllic Fijian island destination including game fishing, snorkeling, sailing, bushwalking, every hour of every day you'll find something new and exciting to do on Malolo.
Local Fijian Village
Take a visit by boat to the local village of Yaro and meet the local village people of Malolo Island and check out the shell market.
Fishing
Fish the typical Fijian way with hand-line and local bait. Trips are available daily (excluding Sundays).
Uninhibited sandback seclusion
Why not spend a morning on your own sandbank? Departing after breakfast they'll take you by boat to a nearby sandbank for the morning, returning to Malolo for lunch. Picnic lunches are also available for this tour.
Snorkelling trips
Their daily snorkeling trips will take you to discover the underwater beauty of nearby coral reefs. However the snorkeling in front of your bure is also fantastic.
Scuba
Enthusiasts from around the globe travel to Fiji to dive in the crystal clear waters surrounding the Mamanuca islands.
Malolo offers diving facilities including instruction through the qualified PADI staff of Subsurface Fiji. For those who have never experienced the beauty and wonder of the underwater world here is your chance! All it takes is one easy fun morning session before you can experience your first open water dive with a certified Dive Master.
Weddings
Seasonally, Malolo is offering a free wedding or renewal of vows when you stay a minimum of 5 nights.
The free wedding is based on their basic wedding package, however, if you book 5 or more rooms, they'll upgrade the wedding to their deluxe package, absolutely free!
Local Area
Located amongst the archipelago known as the Mamanuca Islands, Malolo Island Resort is just 25 kilometres (16 miles) west of Fiji's International Nadi Airport. Malolo Resort is a small intimate resort comprising of just 9 acres of the 2000 acre island.
