Description

The Westin Maui is paradise nestled on 12 oceanfront acres of world-famous Kaanapali Beach. Hosting a magnificent 85,000 square-foot aquatic playground with five inter-connecting swimming pools, a thrilling waterslide, full health club and spa and fantastic dining venues. All this makes The Westin Maui the place "Where Heaven and Aloha Meet."

Dining

Drawing from Maui's abundant natural bounty and multi-cultural heritage, our restaurants offer a variety of distinctive menus featuring the freshest local ingredients. From traditional island favorites to gourmet delights, you'll enjoy a diverse range of flavors served in dramatic venues - including oceanfront settings perfect for catching a brilliant Maui sunset.

For magnificent sunset views and oceanfront dining, stop by their signature restaurant, Tropica. Just off the beachwalk, guests dine amidst flickering tiki torches, soft tumbling waterfalls and views of the neighboring islands and the dazzling Pacific Ocean.

Enjoy casual poolside dining amidst meandering streams and the feel of a tropical bistro at 'Ono. The all-day dining menu features island specialties, family favorites and health-conscious selections. Don't miss the extensive selections of the 'Ono-licious' breakfast buffet.

Spa

The Westin Maui's Spa offers the ultimate in personalized massage, skincare, salon and body therapies. Enjoy their signature “Heavenly Spa” treatments or just unwind in the effervescent waters of their hydrotherapy tub and whirlpools.

The Spa features:
  • 16 treatment rooms: 11 massage rooms (including two couple massage rooms)
  • 3 facial rooms
  • 2 wet rooms with a hydrotherapy tub
  • Vichy showers
  • Expansive men and women's locker rooms, each with their own whirlpools, steam room and saunas
  • Ocean view lounge
  • Full service salon offering hair services, manicures, pedicures, hair braiding, make-up and bridal party preparation
  • Specialized treatments incorporating island fragrances, including Maui grown Lavender.
The Nature Conservancy: The Westin Maui Resort & Spa is committed to the conservation of Maui's native forested watersheds and will contribute $1.00 from each spa treatment or approximately $15,000 annually to The Nature Conservancy to support Maui watershed protection programs.

Activities

From scuba diving to golf to sailing off Ka'anapali's beautiful coastline, there's no shortage of activities at The Westin Maui Resort & Spa.

Ka'anapali's North and South courses offer some of the most unique challenges in Hawaii: distracting beauty with sweeping views of the ocean, gentle and not so gentle trade winds to tease your drives -- even a turn-of-the-century sugarcane train chugging by.

Each year, Ka'anapali takes center stage in the world of golf with the Ka'anapali Classic, a fitting conclusion to the Senior PGA Tour attracting such names as Chi Chi Rodriguez, Lee Trevino, Arnold Palmer, Tom Weiskoff, Dave Stockton and Hale Irwin.

The spectacular 6,994-yard, 18-hole Tournament North Course was designed by Robert Trent Jones, Sr. and has long been considered one of Maui's best. Its sister, the 6,555-yard, 18-hole Resort South Course was named one of North America's top 'Women Friendly' courses in 1997 by Golf For Women magazine. Westin Maui guests receive preferential rates and tee times.

For a breathtaking view of the West Maui shore, board the Gemini Catamaran for a fun-filled day of snorkeling, a relaxing sunset champagne cruise, or explore the world of our seasonal visitors: the Pacific Humpback Whales.

Scuba

Located at The Westin Maui Resort & Spa, Kaanapali Dive Co. offers dives for beginners to the experienced. During your dive, enjoy the sights of colorful coral, Hawaiian reef fish and even a sea turtle or two - just off the beach fronting the hotel. There's no experience necessary, so come and experience the waters of Ka'anapali.

Facilities

Stay at One, Play at All

Staying at one of Starwood Maui's three amazing and unique properties gives you more vacation value and experiences than you will find anywhere else on Maui.

With the "Stay at One, Play at All" program, when you stay at The Westin Maui, Sheraton Maui Resort, and Westin Kaanapali Ocean Resort Villas, you enjoy the sights and culinary delights of all three Starwood Maui hotels.
