Accommodations
The Pineapple House
Newly renovated and designed by Ralph Lauren, all rooms evoke tropical beach living. White stone floors, romantic four-poster mahogany bamboo beds and sumptuous upholstered furniture add to each guest's comfort.
The color accents are white with splashes of pink and blue. The bathrooms have been enlarged and feature separate deep tubs, freestanding rain showers and double sink vanities.
The Pineapple House consists of 36 oceanfront rooms overlooking the Caribbean Sea and the new double infinity edge pool. Upstairs rooms have large louvered windows which fold back to take full advantage of breathtaking views. The downstairs rooms have balconies or patios.
Private Villas
There are 27 individually owned villas with 74 suites, surrounded by 30 acres of tropical gardens. Villas or cottages contain 2, 3, 4, and 5 suites, each with private living rooms and/or verandahs, and magnificent views. Villas may be rented as a private, complete villa with private pool or suites in villas with a shared pool. 23 villas have their own pool.
Dining
Their world-class chef, Trevor Duncan, starts with Jamaica's finest and freshest bounty and prepares it in ways that capture the spirit of healthy living. Fresh seafood, prime meats, local vegetables and tropical fruits are delectably presented in ways most of our guest find irresistable.
Most nights, you'll dine al fresco under a starry sky on the Seaside Terrace or in the semi-enclosed Georgian Room, both overlooking the beautiful Round Hill Bay.

Local Area
The overriding palette of the rooms is white to reflect the sand and light of Jamaica . White walls, a white peaked ceiling and white tile floors with a matte finish set the tone. The four-poster king-sized beds are mahogany-stained bamboo draped in a white net and made with white sheets of 300-count Egyptian cotton. Also in mahogany stained bamboo is a sumptuous chaise lounge, which is finished with a white slipcover. A white coffee table, sofa chair, desk chair, two bedside tables, and armoire are accented with throws and pillows in splashes of tropical colors such as hot pink, turquoise, blue, and yellow. Brass and nickel-plated chrome finish lamps lend a glow over all and a mahogany desk completes the look. The furnishings are from Ralph Lauren's Home Design Studio and crafted either in the U.S. or in Jamaica. Ralph Lauren, using fixtures by Waterworks in the sleek nickel-plated chrome-finish for which the company is known, also designed the new, spacious bathrooms. Large, white bathtubs are freestanding and showers are separate. The wood walls with tongue-in-groove have all been painted white, topping the white tile floors. Touches of tropical colors complement those in the bedroom. Windows in the rooms overlooking the sea and beach are shaded by white awnings continuing the theme from within. A look that at once defines serenity and luxurious space. While these new accommodations are decidedly low-key to epitomize a freshness and a beach ambience, their accent is on comfort and an escape from commercialism. The newly designed Deluxe Oceanfront Rooms are on the second floor of the Pineapple House Hotel. In 2005, Ralph Lauren will re-design the Superior Oceanfront Rooms found on the first floor. They will include the addition of small wooden balconies or verandahs, entered through French doors.
