Accommodations

One defining difference at Raffles Resort Canouan Island is the size of the accommodation. Each of our guest rooms has an area of no less than 560 square feet and all have private covered patios or terraces with comfortable lounge chairs and prime views overlooking the beach and sea.

Accommodation is either set on the Mezzanine Level, located on the top level of the resort's amphitheatre setting, or on the Orchestra Level, within the first four levels of the resort. This includes garden and ocean view rooms and suites with one, two or three bedrooms. In addition, our Personality Suites feature a private plunge pool.

For convenience and enjoyment, each guest room comes with its own golf cart for residents' personal use during their stay.

Dining

La Piazza

A stylish Italian concept restaurant, La Piazza pampers guests with its sleek and contemporary design and trendy services. The highlights of this restaurant include a centrepiece work of art - a golden bowl suspended in the air - a three-storey wine cellar with one of the world's largest collections of Italian wines and superb views of the bay. The menu is a tantalising blend of authentic Tuscan cuisine, which features white Alba truffles and premium, aged Parmesan cheeses.

Jambu's

With a name of Sanskrit origin, this signature restaurant is a spectacular poolside, all-day dining venue with palapa roofing. Life is lived to the fullest when the bold flavours of the restaurant's trans-ethnic cuisine bring a new meaning to all-day dining. All dishes are created in true Raffles style, cooked to perfection and served with finesse. This unique cuisine embraces the additional essences drawn from Latin and Japanese cuisine. It is no wonder that it has been named on Condé Nast Traveler's 2005 'US Hot Table' list as one of the most romantic restaurants in the Caribbean.

La Varenne

Located at the Villa Monte Carlo, La Varenne offers panoramic views of the Caribbean, overlooking the resort and the islands of St Vincent & The Grenadines. This gourmet restaurant lends itself perfectly as an exclusive retreat within the island. A superb selection of unsurpassed gourmet dishes, capturing only the best of European cuisine, is offered alongside the finest selection of Raffles Private Label caviar. Fine champagnes and European wines also dominate the large wine list.

Godahl Beach Bar & Grill

This casual beachside bar and grill at Godahl Beach is a hot spot for guests during the day with its beautiful views of the ocean and unspoiled coral reefs. Built from tropical woods, bamboo and palm trees, this is an ideal venue for spending a day at the beach and enjoying a vast variety of beach and water sports. Innovative and flavourful Caribbean-Cuban dishes make up the casual menu, complemented by Caribbean cocktails and a fine selection of healthy drinks and juices.

Bellini's

Adjacent to La Piazza, Bellini's is the resort's signature bar. Cascading water features, as well as views of the golf course and Mount Royal, await guests while they enjoy a selection of fine cocktails and signature Bellinis, which are perfect complements to the delectable cuisine of La Piazza. The bar is only open in the evenings and serves up designer canapés, Italian-style tapas, pasta samplers and creative tasting portions of the catch of the day promise to please any palate.

Jambu's Bar

This lounge and Martini Prosecco bar at the beachfront pool offers 88 different types of martini, including the resort's signature $300 martini, which comes with the ultimate souvenir - a 24-carat gold, handcrafted olive sword. Definitely a great start to each evening.

Pool Bar

Set distinctively in the centre of one of the Caribbean's longest outdoor pools, this swim-up bar is sheltered by exquisite palapa roofs. A lighter version of Jambu's à la carte menu is offered along with other poolside snacks. Caribbean cocktails complement the light fare.

Trump Club Privee

A revival of the long-forgotten tradition of European-style gaming in an elegantly exclusive venue has now been recreated in a building looking as though it were straight out of a James Bond film. Trump Club Privee, which is managed by Donald J Trump, features a private salon for members only. Villa Monte Carlo, where Trump Club Privee is located, features La Varenne, a European gourmet restaurant with stunning views, and a Grand Ballroom for exclusive private functions. Law prohibits persons under the age of 18 years.

Raffles Resort Canouan Island's signature RafflesAmrita Spa, which has been named 'Best of the Best' by the Robb Report, is located in one of the most spectacular natural settings on earth, inspired by the pristine elements of the Caribbean Sea - the winds, sounds and colours of the water.

Treatment Rooms

We designed our treatment rooms after palapas, which are thatched roof structures made of palm fronds using chiqui-chiqui palms from the deep forests of Venezuela. These spa suites, all private and comfortable, are constructed of selected woods from Brazil and Guyana and built along the hillside, with striking views of the Caribbean Sea.

All treatment suites are inspired and designed in line with the 12 individual shades of blue discovered in the ocean. Be invited into our blend of teal, lapis and azure spa suites.

Relax on your own private, ocean-view deck, with jacuzzi, Asian day bed and a selection of RafflesAmrita Spa teas.

Classes

A unique tree palapa has also been designed beside the sapphire-blue water of the Caribbean Sea for your classes of Morning Chi and Meditation.

Spa Products

While the reception level is so stunning and tranquil that you will want to settle in, an open-air elevator gently lifts you to the various levels of treatment suites. A RafflesAmrita Spa retail shop is also available where residents will find a wide assortment of selected aromatherapy and wellness products. RafflesAmrita Spa also features its own Private Label aromatherapy oils as well as international brand products from Phytomer and Kerstin Florian.

Dining

For your dining pleasure, spa cuisine has been created featuring a light menu of delicious and boldly flavourful dishes, designed to complement your wellness experience. Spa cuisine is served at Godhal Beach Bar & Grill and is offered on selected dishes throughout the resort's dining venues.
