Description
This resort is located on the island Motu Tevairoa, 10 minutes by boat from the Bora Bora airport, 15 minutes from the main city of Bora Bora Vaitape. It offers 50 Over Water Bungalows, 10 Beach Bungalow Suites and 20 Garden Pool Suites. Check out our slide show from our recent visit. Bora Bora, with a lagoon resembling an artist's palette of blues and greens, is love at first sight.
Accommodations
All 80 bungalows are equipped with air conditioning and offer satellite television including american news channel CNN, series, movies, documentary and sport channel.
Special efforts have been undertaken to recreate the feeling of a traditional Polynesian "fare" (home) for the 6 Garden Pool Suites and 14 Premium Pool Suites
The 50 overwater bungalows are 53 square meters each (570 sq feet). All offer a very spacious bathroom area with both a separate shower and a full size bath tub. The vanity area and the bath tub feature glass tables tops to look into the lagoon.
Dining
The Tevairoa Restaurant sits 6 meters (20 feet) above sea level and overlooks the thousand shades of blues and turquoise of the Bora Bora lagoon, and looks onto the majestic and memorable mountain Otemanu.
Restaurant Tevairoa has a refined international cuisine to suit the taste of our cosmopolitan clientele. On special evenings during the week, experience a spectacular Polynesian show while dining on the terrace under the stars.
The Miki Miki Restaurant and Bar are located next to the pool--great for lunch by the pool or under shaded huts.
The Taurearea Bar has a perfect setting to admire the sunrise or a magical place to try one of its old portos or rhum. The finishing touch to top off a unique evening experience.
Spa
The Manea Spa is a full-service spa, incorporating authentic Polynesian treatments with holistic philosophies and the combination of indigenous ingredients, modern technology and nurturing touch.
Located beside a lake in the heart of a tropical garden, the 600 square meter (6,460 square foot) spa offers a total of eight treatment rooms: two single bungalows and two double massage rooms (convertible to four single treatment rooms); an open-air Vichy shower with two tables; beauty salon for manicures, pedicures and facials; two steam rooms and two saunas; an air-conditioned relaxation pavilion; and a fully-equipped, air-conditioned fitness room.
The Royale Pomare Suite--the Manea Spa's centerpiece--is a distinctive treatment room ideal for honeymooners and couples. Guests can enjoy a private 3 hour 20 minute session, including a fruit and sand scrub, body rinse and jet shower, flower bath, humuhei oil massage, and a Jacuzzi bath.
The Manea Spa is managed by Kamala and Anthony Nayeli, a husband-and-wife team from the United States, with the support of ten Polynesian massage specialists.
The Manea Spa combines traditional Tahitian architecture and materials with the comfort of state of the art equipments and facilities. The exotic timber panelled treatment rooms create a feeling of warmth and comfort while the Tahitian personality is accentuated by coconut tree, kaori, bamboo and lava stone.

Weddings
For couples who spend a minimum of eight nights with the participating resorts, a complimentary Polynesian wedding is arranged on their behalf, situated on a white sand beach with traditional flowers, musicians and Polynesian customs.
To qualify for the complimentary ceremony, guests must spend a minimum of four nights at either Bora Bora Pearl Beach Resort & Spa or Moorea Pearl Resort & Spa, both potential sites for the wedding ceremony. Following these nights, guests must also spend a minimum of four nights at Tikehau Pearl Beach Resort or Manihi Pearl Beach Resort in the spectacular Tuamotu Atolls. This offer, applicable for one wedding only, represents a significant savings of $1,000 on an unforgettable wedding experience.
At Moorea Pearl Resort & Spa, the Pa'I Miti wedding ceremony includes a 15-minute romantic beachside service. In their bungalow, where the décor has been dressed with flowers and fresh fruit, the couple is prepared in traditional white pareos with floral necklaces. They are escorted to the beach for a Polynesian ceremony, presentation of marriage certificate and toasting with wedding cocktails amidst a performance by a musical trio. A Polynesian canoe then transports the married couple back to their bungalow, where a bottle of Champagne awaits them. They are also presented with an album of 10 photographs from the ceremony.
At Bora Bora Pearl Beach Resort & Spa, the wedding ceremony takes place in the private chapel, decorated with fresh flowers. The wedding coordinator prepares the couple with traditional white pareos and floral crowns, before escorting them to the chapel and blessing their union. During the one-hour ceremony, each couple is given a unique Tahitian name, which is inscribed on the wedding certificate given to the couple. At the ceremony's completion, the couple is wrapped in a traditional Polynesian wedding quilt, known as the Tifaifai, and toasted with Champagne as they are unwrapped. A photograph album of 24 photos is given to the couple.
The offer is valid beginning November 1, 2006 through December 22, 2007, with the exception of the black-out period between July 1, 2007 and October 31, 2007. Offer is subject to availability and cannot be combined with other promotional offers. Ceremonies are strictly symbolic and not legally binding in the U.S., unless the 30-day waiting period is observed in advance.

The Bora Bora Pearl Resort is a member of the Leading Small Hotels of the World.

Most beautiful island in the world
Alishea
Wedding couple
About me: My husband and I had dreamed of one day going to Tahiti and more importantly, Bora Bora. We were married on July 28, 2007 and started our honeymoon in August. The best vacation ever! We are just now paying off all of the wedding and honeymoon expenses, but it was definately worth it.

We were so excited to visit the most romantic island in the world and it definately exceeded our expectations. We were especially impressed with this hotel. We stayed in an overwater bungalow at the end of the pier, which had the best view of the main island. We loved the fact that we could jump into the water right outside our back sliding door. The food was great although pricey like everywhere on the island. The staff were very friendly and we had an awesome welcome with a welcome package and explaination of the hotel's services and activities available. When we did a few excursions which picked up couples from other hotels, we noticed that some of these hotels had a lot of reef surrounding the bungalows, which would make it hard to swim around your room. This was a big factor in picking this particular hotel because we did not want to worry about stepping on coral. I thought this hotel was the nicest we saw and other people we talked to thought the same. I would definately reccommend this hotel to honeymooners and hopefully will get to go back someday. VERY ROMANTIC AND BEAUTIFUL. ...you can see our pics at the link below.
