Description

Rangiroa, a string of coral encircling a luminous turquoise and jade-green lagoon, is one of the world's greatest dive destinations.

From the air, the atoll - the second largest in the world - seems to be a giant pearl necklace laid upon the water. Here is a world where 240 tiny islets, or motu, each no more than three feet in elevation, lay upon the ocean for more than 110 miles completely encircling an infinitely deep lagoon. Rangiroa's lagoon, the second largest in the world, is highly prized by divers from around the world because of the pass dives, visibility, and density of marine life, particularly sharks.

Accommodations

Overwater Bungalows

Overlooking the Pacific Ocean, a cluster of 10 Over Water Bungalows stand amid the jade and blue water of the lagoon with a wooden pontoon running between them. The ultimate luxury and comfort of these bungalows set the tone for relaxing and exotic vacations. From the private deck, you can step down into the lagoon and swim by day or night while admiring the colorful tropical fish around you. Each bungalow is built in a style blending noble and precious materials with international class comfort including a lounge, separate bedroom, bathroom with shower and a private sun deck and terrace. The interior design and finish display tasteful examples of Polynesian arts and crafts such as woven bamboo, carpentry and shellfish ornaments.

The amenities and services include: mini-bar, AC and fan, safe, hair dryer, tea and coffee facilities, toiletries (shampoo, hair conditioner, body lotion and soap) and telephone.

Beach Bungalows

Spread along a white sand beach facing the endless blue lagoon, 25 beautiful bungalows built in traditional Polynesian style lie among the coconut trees. With organic roofs made of woven palms and a bamboo finish, they unfold a world of luxury mingled with the authenticity of local arts and crafts. Step on the pristine sand from your door and swim in the warm, shimmering water of the lagoon. You can bathe in the sun on your own private deck or relax in the jacuzzi on the terrace while sipping a glass of champagne and admiring the magnificent sunset. The beach bungalows offer two types of accommodation: 3 Beach Prestige Bungalows, suites with two bedrooms (one on the loft) and lounge and 22 Beach Bungalows, one bedroom suites with lounge.

All bungalows include a bathroom with shower, refrigerator, AC and fan, safe, hair dryer, tea and coffee facilities, toiletries (shampoo, hair conditioner, body lotion and soap) and telephone.

Garden Bungalows

Nestled in the luxurious tropical vegetation among coconut and palm groves, 28 traditional bungalows with a woven palm roof look out on the blue horizon. A short walk among the beautiful tropical species will take you to the endless sand beach. The calm surroundings of these stylishly decorated bungalows offer relaxation and intimacy that you can also enjoy from their private terrace. Their traditional designs blended with international standard amenities make your stay a great experience in a completely natural environment.
The Garden Bungalows offer two types of accommodation: 5 Garden Suite Bungalows with separate bedroom and lounge, and 23 Garden Bungalows with one bedroom.

They all include the following amenities: bathroom with shower, refrigerator, AC and fan, hair dryer, tea and coffee facilities, phone and toiletries (shampoo, hair conditioner, body lotion and soap).
