The overwater bungalows have spacious sundecks with direct access to the crystal water of the lagoon and an indoor glass table allowing you to admire the underwater life.

Dine in the open air restaurant Poe Rava or enjoy a refreshment at the Miki Miki bar which is nestled between the white sand beach and the fresh water infinity pool.

The hotel also features two boutiques, a dive center and a wide range of excursions. Life in Manihi is centered around the sea with numerous activities including snorkeling, visits to black pearl farms, outrigger canoe trips, lagoon and deep sea fishing, sunset cruises, and world renowned scuba diving. Accommodations

The 4 star Manihi Pearl Beach Resort offers an enchanting location in the natural, undiscovered beauty of the Tuamotu archipelago. The Manihi Pearl Beach Resort is an example of tasteful, traditional Polynesian architecture using a mixture of the most noble materials: local precious wood, bamboo, shells, pandanus and palm tree fronds.

The 14 Over Water and 5 Premium Over Water Bungalows have spacious sundecks over the lagoon to admire its myriad of blues and greens and each contain glass tables to feed the fish below. Glass tables embedded in the floor bathe your bungalow in a soft and undulating light as well as enabling you to discover the multi-colored underwater world of the lagoon.

The 22 Beach Bungalows situated along the palm fringed beachfront give direct access to the lagoon. All bungalows are equipped with telephones, hair dryers, mini-bars, fans, in-room safe and coffee/tea facilities.

Dining

The Poe Rava Restaurant and terrace open onto the lagoon: a sumptuous setting for a taste of International and Polynesian cuisine.

The Miki Miki Bar, nestled between the white sand beach, the freshwater pool and the lagoon, offers the indispensable romantic background for a lovers cocktail.

Activities

Manihi Pearl Beach Resort offers many lagoon excursions and activities. One of the most famous excursions is "Motu picnic". If you have ever dreamed of picnicking on a deserted island, the turquoise-blue horizon all to yourselves and sand soft as talcum powder beneath your toes, then this is your dream comes true. You will snorkel in the lagoon around the fabulous and multi-coloured fish.

Scuba

Manihi is a string of islets very famous for its black pearl farms. It has earned an honored place in the international diving world. Close sites of impressive seascapes with a large density and variety of species are the particulars that make this destination so special.

Moderate currents in the pass, the clarity of the water and dive sites protected from wings and waves make Manihi the ideal dive destination for experienced as well as beginner's divers. It is a Paradise for underwater photography.

Local Area

Manihi is an atoll in the Tuamotu Archipelago 520 km (312 miles) northeast of Tahiti and is a 1 hour 10 minutes direct flight from Papeete (1h40 if stopping in Rangiroa).

Its clear lagoon which is 3.5 miles wide by 19 miles long, has a deep navigable pass through the reef, and shelters numerous black pearl farms. The population of 400 live in village of Turipaoa next to this pass.
