Description
There are some heavenly places which do not need an introduction. Manihi is a string of islets where palm trees languish and white-sand beaches abound, bathed in a "South Seas" emerald water, is the perfect of all such places, a setting for a Stevenson novel.
Manihi, atoll at the end of the world in the North Tuamotu archipelago, is a 1 hour 40 minutes flight from Tahiti, the New Cythera. Air Tahiti flies, seven days a week, 10 flights per week, to Manihi.

Weddings
For couples who spend a minimum of eight nights with the participating resorts, a complimentary Polynesian wedding is arranged on their behalf, situated on a white sand beach with traditional flowers, musicians and Polynesian customs.
To qualify for the complimentary ceremony, guests must spend a minimum of four nights at either Bora Bora Pearl Beach Resort & Spa or Moorea Pearl Resort & Spa, both potential sites for the wedding ceremony. Following these nights, guests must also spend a minimum of four nights at Tikehau Pearl Beach Resort or Manihi Pearl Beach Resort in the spectacular Tuamotu Atolls. This offer, applicable for one wedding only, represents a significant savings of $1,000 on an unforgettable wedding experience.
At Moorea Pearl Resort & Spa, the Pa'I Miti wedding ceremony includes a 15-minute romantic beachside service. In their bungalow, where the décor has been dressed with flowers and fresh fruit, the couple is prepared in traditional white pareos with floral necklaces. They are escorted to the beach for a Polynesian ceremony, presentation of marriage certificate and toasting with wedding cocktails amidst a performance by a musical trio. A Polynesian canoe then transports the married couple back to their bungalow, where a bottle of Champagne awaits them. They are also presented with an album of 10 photographs from the ceremony.
At Bora Bora Pearl Beach Resort & Spa, the wedding ceremony takes place in the private chapel, decorated with fresh flowers. The wedding coordinator prepares the couple with traditional white pareos and floral crowns, before escorting them to the chapel and blessing their union. During the one-hour ceremony, each couple is given a unique Tahitian name, which is inscribed on the wedding certificate given to the couple. At the ceremony's completion, the couple is wrapped in a traditional Polynesian wedding quilt, known as the Tifaifai, and toasted with Champagne as they are unwrapped. A photograph album of 24 photos is given to the couple.
The offer is valid beginning November 1, 2006 through December 22, 2007, with the exception of the black-out period between July 1, 2007 and October 31, 2007. Offer is subject to availability and cannot be combined with other promotional offers. Ceremonies are strictly symbolic and not legally binding in the U.S., unless the 30-day waiting period is observed in advance.
