The Whitby 42 enjoys a well earned reputation as a solid cruising yacht and Corus is a nice example of this popular design. She features a comfortable aft cabin with a private head. Access to this cabin is either from the cockpit or the salon walkway. The well ventilated interior spaces are traditionally styled with plenty of teak woodwork accented by attractive beige and pastel upholstery. The cozy but comfortable cockpit has a dodger and small dining table. A bimini provides shade under sail and a full awning can be rigged while at anchor.

Below, satin finished teak reflects the soft glow of polished brass. Both in the comfortable saloon, with it's plump sofas, that invite you you to relax over a good book, and in your spacious private aft suite with queen sized bed and large bathroom you cannot fail to feel pampered and relaxed. On deck our deep cushioned cockpit, with large dining table - actually capable of seating eight easily, is venue for those candlelit dinners under the tropical heavens you have always dreamed of. Romantic? Of course it is ... and adventurous! Many of our guests have never sailed before. But Corus with her deep keel does not easily dip her rail in the briny foam. She has a stability which makes newcomers feel confident & secure and a turn of speed that surprises the most experienced sailor. Remember too - a smaller boat can find many more secluded anchorages.

Stretch out, unwind, take it easy during the heat of the day under our large bimini which we designed to give complete shade if required but to open up and let the sea breezes blow through at anchor. This is where you will spend most of your day, from your early morning cup of coffee, a perfect al fresco lunch, a cocktail as you watch the sun go down. And there is loads more space on deck for sunning and "limin". Stand on the bowsprit as we cut through the waves and be the first to spot a curious dolphin or mighty humpbacked whale.

Your holiday itinerary is yours to choose - do as little or as much as you wish. Go swimming off our custom teak platform which allows easy access in and out of the water; go snorkeling over fascinating reefs, (if you have never tried this before we can teach you), let Ann prepare a picnic to enjoy on your own, go beachcombing. What about scuba diving? If you are certified (open water) Bill is a very experienced PADI Dive Master, with vast local knowledge, who will guide you around the best dive sites.
