The Ritz-Carlton, St. Thomas features 200 guestrooms including oceanview and tropical gardenview deluxe rooms and suites. The accommodations are divided into Mediterranean-style villas situated in a semi-circle around Great Bay.

Guests seeking additional privacy, value and comfort can enjoy accommodations in The Ritz-Carlton, St. Thomas' new Club Level, set on Coconut Cove Beach with panoramic views of the Caribbean Sea and St. John.

Continuing in the Caribbean resort's Mediterranean villa-style architecture, the Club Level accommodations and lounge exclusively facilitate two buildings with private access. Each guestroom in the Club level features stunning oceanfront views and guests can enjoy breathtaking sights from the Club Lounge. The resort's Club Level guests are contacted by the concierge in advance regarding special preferences and requests.

Dining

Guests can choose from four unique dining experiences at The Ritz-Carlton, St. Thomas.

IGUANA'S - A full-service restaurant, offering lunch with a Caribbean flair. Casual beachfront dining overlooking turquoise-blue waters for salads and grilled favorites.

THE PALM GARDEN CAFE - As an open-air restaurant, The Café offers casually elegant dining in a truly tropical setting. The extensive menu features contemporary American cuisine with a hint of Mediterranean.

The nearby Café Bar is popular for a glass of wine before dinner, evening cordial or an after-dinner cigar.

THE GREAT BAY GRILL - The Great Bay Grill (formerly The Dining Room) was newly named because of its focus on the freshest meats and seafood simply grilled. Still, dishes are anything but traditional, as flavors of the Caribbean are woven throughout the menu and complemented by premium wine selections. As always, guests can enjoy expansive views of Great Bay from the restaurant and only the finest personal service.

COCONUT COVE BEACH BAR & GRILL - Located adjacent to the new Coconut Cove beach and pool, the hotel's newest beachfront restaurant, Coconut Cove Beach Bar & Grill debuted in September 2002. The outdoor restaurant offers a casual beachfront setting for lunch and tropical beverages daily.

THE LIVING ROOM - A gracious lounge for conversation or a perfect after-dinner spot. Cocktails and light fare served daily.

Spa

Boutique Spa, Salon and Fitness Center

The intimate new boutique Spa, Salon and Fitness Center offers luxurious treatment rooms, open air cabanas and an outdoor relaxation terrace. In-room treatments are also available.

All spa treatments feature plant extracts and essential oils for the most natural approach to skincare. For body and facial treatments, therapists utilize Decleor's aroma-skincare line, using only 100% pure, 100% natural and 100% essential oils and balms. For facial treatments, The Spa features the exclusive Carita poly-sensory beauty care line.

The Fitness Center includes a wide variety of cardiovascular and weight-training equipment. These state of the art equipment include Stairmasters, treadmills and free weights.

Activities

An Adventure Aboard The Lady Lynsey

At The Ritz-Carlton, St. Thomas, guests can enjoy half-day, full-day and sunset sails daily throughout the US and British Virgin Islands aboard the hotel's private 53-foot catamaran, The Lady Lynsey. Captain John Holmberg and his able crew are there to attend to every guest wish and need.

Half and full-day snorkeling excursions are offered weekly for guests who want to swim, sunbathe or simply enjoy a quiet anchorage. In addition to cocktails and snacks, an elaborate buffet is also offered. The popular Jost Van Dyke full-day sail enables guests to explore Great Harbor and explore a live coral reef. The itinerary includes a stop on a secluded private island where snorkeling conditions are among the best in the Caribbean. Complete food and beverage services are available.

Scuba

Scuba Diving and Snorkeling Excursions from the Patagon Dive Center

Guests can explore the colorful waters of the Caribbean Sea on supervised scuba dives and snorkeling excursions that depart daily from the resort's full PADI Dive Center on property. Beginners, intermediate and advanced divers are welcome. From their privileged location on the eastern tip of St. Thomas, guests can access a score of small islands and cays that host diverse underwater scenery and marine life just 10 to 20 minutes away.

Popular scuba diving sites include The Rhone, Pocket Rock Reef, General Rogers and The Caves of Cow and Calf. Sites good for scuba diving and snorkeling are Congo Cay, Thatch Cay, Carval Rock, Dog Island and St. James Island. Another adventurous option is the Night Dive, available regularly.

Chief Divemaster, Captain Arnoldo Falcoff, is originally from Patagonia, where he worked for many years in underwater salvage and research operations. He has 25 years of local diving and marine experience and has been responsible for diving excursions at the hotel since it first opened.

The Patagon can accommodate groups of two to six guests on each dive. A full range of snorkeling and dive gear is available to rent, or guests may bring their own gear. Towels, drinking water and refreshments are available on board.

Weddings

The Ritz-Carlton, St. Thomas offers the island's most beautiful and elegant wedding location. Nestled into the tranquil Great Bay, all points on the property offer a panoramic view of our manicured grounds, infinity edge pool and crystal blue water. The lush green hills of St. John and majestic Caribbean Sea in the distance will perfectly accent the selected setting for this wedding.

Ceremonies may be performed on our outdoor terraces, on our white sand beach, or within the elegantly appointed courtyard of the resort.
