One of the first countries to shake off the heavy weight of the iron curtain, the Czech Republic has earned its 'must visit' status.
With its central European location - the country borders Germany, Poland, Austria and Slovakia - stunning historical architecture,
beautiful scenery, renowned beer and reputation as an excellent value, the Czech Republic has become a destination unto itself.
Most visitors start their trip in Prague, the capital and the largest city. The historic palace and beautiful bridges shouldn't be missed.
