The Green Bride Guide
A little over a year ago, Kate Harrison and her husband began planning their wedding, and spent literally thousands of hours
collecting green elements and comparing green vendors.
She found she was surprised and very frustrated to see how dispersed the information was.
To make sure others did not have to suffer endless web surfing, she compiled all of that information into this book, which is due out this fall.

Intimate Weddings
This book is written for brides and grooms planning weddings with 75 guests or less, and has great suggestions
for themes, decorating, getting the family involved, and creative ideas for where to hold the wedding.
Christina Friedrichsen has been a guest contributor for several issues of our wedding newsletter. Her book gets a solid
5-star rating at Amazon!

Great Wedding Tips from the Experts
Robbi Ernst has been training and certifying wedding consultants for many years.
This is a great book on wedding planning, written for brides, but written by someone who's been teaching wedding planners
how to do it. We first connected with Robbi just a few months after we founded TheBigDay.com, and he's been a
lot of help to us, and his book contains a wealth of information.

It's Her Wedding But I'll Cry If I Want To
Leslie Milk does a terrific job of mixing humor with practical advice in her "survival guide" for the mother of the bride.
Michael's note: I gave this to my fiancée's mother...she seems to like me even more now. Maybe it's me, or maybe it's the book :-)

Jessica Simpson's "I Do" Book
An interesting look at how the rich and famous get married!
Be warned: you might find this more entertaining than practical.
She does mention TheBigDay in the book, though, in the resource section, which has a useful listing of companies. And no, we
didn't have to pay to get in it :-)

Bridal Bargains
Denise and Alan Fields started out creating a website for bridal gowns, so you'll find a lot of detail on reviews
on wedding dress designers...but there's a lot of other great wedding planning info here too.
It's compact and
straight-to-the-point, so you won't waste too much time reading "fluff"!
